I discovered Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, in grade school when I came across a book at the library. Young crafty me was delighted! Something I could make and I only needed paper. I had a blast trying the different projects. To this day I still remember how to make a paper balloon(A skill that comes in handy as a pet parent. They make good bird toys.).
When you look at Origami it can look impossible, but the great thing is you can find projects for every skill level. Start off with some easy projects and work your way up to the more difficult. I found instructions for a variety of Origami pets for you to make no matter what your skill level. Give it a try!

Whoa! These are really neat. I think I know how I’ll spend my time with my niece and nephew next week 🙂

I haven’t done origami since grade school, but remember it being fun! I might have to get one of those books for my grandsons for Christmas – I’m always needing ideas!

One of my kids really enjoyed origami, he hasn’t done it recently, but maybe if I got him a new book his interest would be rekindled.

I hope if I at least try that my blood pressure will go down. I am not good at crafty stuff.
