Soon we’ll all be gathered together to celebrate the birth of the United States and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It is a day of national pride. We get together with friends and family at picnics to catch up, laugh and play games. And our pets often join us, because hey, they’re family too.
Along with picnics and fireworks, the Fourth is time to get your red, white and blue on. Why not let your pets show their national pride too with one of these patriotic pet ideas.

Patriotic Dogs
July might be a little warm, but this Patriotic Dog Sweater from DragonflyInspires on Etsy would be great for showing off at indoor 4th of July parties as well as the rest of the year.
Your dog is going to be celebrating outside with you, a Patriotic Dog Visor from RobinsPetStore on Etsy might be just the thing to keep the sun off.
Patriotic Cats
With all the celebrating going on, your cat will need a play break. Make the playtime theme patriotic with these 3 charming USA Catnip Mice from MauveMoose on Etsy.
We all need a comfortable spot during fireworks even if we aren’t enjoying them. Keep your cat(or dog) comfy on the Fourth with these Design Your Own Patriotic Pet Bed from AdoreCustomPetBeds on Etsy.
Patriotic Small Pets
Keep the critters comfy on Independence Day with a Patriotic Cuddle Cup from Patriotic Cuddle Cup on Etsy.
Your bunny will look quite dapper when you deck him out for the 4th of July with this Patriotic Bowtie from HealthyNibbles on Etsy.

What great items! I love patriotic products, especially for the dogs. But we pretty much have to stick to just collars and bandanas as far as dressing them for the holiday.

Wowza! Love the patriotic pet stuff! I think my brother Alberto and I would look pretty dapper in the bow tie the bunny is sporting!

Fantastic finds!!

My girls don’t like being “dressed up” for any occasion, but they will tolerate bandannas and their raincoats/winter jackets. I do like the patriotic items, though, and everyone looks great modeling them! I love the dogvisor, too!
