Taste Testing Solid Gold Green Cow® Beef Tripe

Disclosure- product-payment_contest

You want to feed your dog a good diet. With all the information floating around, you might have heard some buzz about green beef tripe. It is the unbleached stomach tissue from ruminants(think cows and sheep). Sounds appetizing, doesn’t it? Even if we don’t think so, dogs think it’s the bomb and luckily it’s healthy for them.

Taste Testing Solid Gold Green Cow® Beef Tripe for dogs.

You can buy green tripe in it’s raw form. Solid Gold made it easier for those of use who prefer not to handle raw meat. They have a canned version you can buy right in your local pet supply store. We got to try it when the kind folks at Sold Gold Pets sent us some Solid Gold Green Cow® Beef Tripe to try.

I was ready for something really disgusting when I first opened the can. It was a relief to find it looked like any other canned dog food with a little bit of a stronger odor to it. The dogs loved it!

If you are looking for something to add to your dog diet either as an additive to dry food or its own meal, you will want to check out Solid Gold Green Cow® Beef Tripe. It’s grain and gluten free. Contains no meat by-product meal, corn, wheat, soy, sugar, artificial preservatives or flavors.

You can find it in your local pet supply store with the rest of the Solid Gold product line, you can order it online, or you could win a case by entering the giveaway below.

Oh wow, this is great to hear it’s not as gross as some have led me to believe. CindyLu’s required extra during the day to keep her busy, too — I’ll be trying this!

I’ve given my dogs freeze dried lamb tripe, but not the ‘fresh’ stuff. That tripe smelled like a pasture. LOL

but I’ve heard it’s super good for dogs.

We’ve tried some freeze dried green tripe before and the dogs loved it. I’ve really been wanting to try this Solid Gold canned food since I hear so much good stuff about green tripe.

I have not fed green tripe to my dog. I did however see it in my local pet specialty store and almost bought it to try.
