Having a Christmas get together in January might seem odd, but my co-workers and I like not having one more thing to do during the Christmas rush. The last Saturday of January you would have found me meeting my co-workers at the Country Cupboard in Lewisberg, PA.
The Country Cupboard has a huge restaurant which was nice, but even better was the HUGE gift shop area. Of course, I couldn’t help but look for anything pet related and I hit the jackpot.

My first find was the perfect find for my niece’s birthday. My niece is horse crazy so this horse purse from Christine Clarke Sassy Kids Fashion line from Douglas Toys was coming home home with me. In my excitement I only looked at the horse purses, but you can find dogs, cats and other animals for your favorite little pet lover.
My friends and I had a laugh over the next find. Anyone up for a drink of Kitty Piddle? Really, it’s a thing. Kitty Piddle® is one of the Totally Gross Soda® made by Avery Beverages. If Kitty Piddle® isn’t your kind of taste you could always try a bottle of Dog Drool®.
As we made our way through the gift store’s kitchen section, I came across silicon trivets and quickly located one covered in pawprints. If that one seems a little ho-hum, you can find a nice variety of pet trivets like a dog bone one, dog park, calico cats, ziggy cats, and more.
My last find had me rushing across the store the minute I saw it. Wouldn’t this look great meeting people at your front door? I was really tempted to get it, but I stuck to my budget and left it there. But as soon as I have a little budge in my budget I’m getting it or one of these other designs I found. There are so many choices. How am I supposed to choose from all these dog rugs? And what about these cat rugs?
Decisions, decisions.
Those are wonderful finds, except maybe the soda. But it is hilarious! Maybe I should get some for an April Fool’s Day lunch.
I love restaurants with gift shops like that, and that one definitely had some great finds! I would have had trouble resisting that rug.
The soda is hysterical, but I don’t think I could bring myself to drink it. I wonder if many people do?

Oh those are great finds! I’m a little bit of an addict when it comes to Doxie rugs so I would have bought that dog rug! I have one outside the kitchen and by the back door. I have a problem I think… 🙂
