How To Help Animals By Shopping

Updated on November 9, 2019 By Dawn 10 Comments

You like to shop. You like to help animals.

Why not combine the 2?

Do you know you can help pets by shopping? See how easy it is.

By shopping through certain sites you can help animals when you make a purchase. Can’t get much easier than that?

Shopping Through These Sites Can Help Animals

iGive – When you are ready to shop head to iGive and find your favorite retailer from the 1700 and more online stores. A percentage will go to the charity you choose when you sign up.

Amazon Smile– Choose your charity then shop through smile.amazon.com so they receive a donation when you make an eligible purchase.

eBay for Charity– Support a charity by looking for the blue and yellow eBay for Charity ribbon in the auctions listings.

Etsy For Animals– Shop from artists and craftspeople who donate parts of their earnings to animals.

This is a great idea. My Amazon account is hooked up to donate to Wounded Warriors, but I could donate to animal rescue by using another site.

It seems I do more and more shopping online!

I use Amazon Smile but didn’t know about the others. Many individual brands have lines where profits are donated. I should do a post about that in July.

I love this and regularly use Amazon Smile. I’ve used iGive, but hadn’t heard of the others and will definitely check them out. Thanks for blogging the change for animals.

This is such a great idea – so simple and efficient, and obviously a boon for our animal friends. Kudos to you for raising awareness of this convenient (and let’s face it – fun!) way to do something positive for animals.

Thank you for blogging – and being – the change for animals!

I use Amazon Smile and the grocery’s store rewards program and the proceeds go to Mr. N’s therapy dog program.
