I have kittens in da house! Cute kittens too(are there any other kind?). I discovered a cat was living in the real small space between my garage and my neighbor’s fence with her 3 kittens. Well, once I find that out there was no way they were staying there so I spent my day off sitting on the ground trying to coax mama kitty through the fence so I could grab her and put her in a carrier. It took all day, but I got her. Now she and her 4-week old kittens are being safely housed (quarantined) in my basement.
I have to say kittens are a nice distraction during this crazy election season. Sometimes you just need something to take your mind of the day to day, like these blog posts I chose to be featured.
But before we get to the featured posts, just a little reminder that when you add your link to the linky party, be sure to link to your post page and not your home page.
And now on to this week’s featured posts.
If there is one thing a pet lover notices where ever they go, it the pets they see. Jenna from Meow Lifestyle shares some beautiful photos of some of the street cats in Istanbul she saw on her visit there. Stop by a take a look at the cats (and dogs) she met.
When I worked at an emergency vet clinic, I spent more mornings than I liked cleaning up after surgery on a dog with bloat. Bloat sucks. One of the most important things you can do is learn about it. All Things Collie gives you the rundown on the disease, the symptoms and more so you can recognize it and get your dog help as soon as possible.
I clicked through for the Ragdolls. I stayed for the training post. Deziz World not only features beautiful Ragdolls( a breed I’m partial to after adopting first Woody then Poughkeepsie), but you’ll find a series on Service Cat Training including this post on training cats to stay off the counter.
